Changing the window color in the basic design under Windows 7 and Server 2008 can be implemented very easily.



In contrast to Microsoft's Windows 10 and 8.1, you can change some of the design under Windows 7, which is no longer the case in the new Windows. Even the old desktop display of Windows 98/95 and NT 4.0 is possible here.

1.) Change to the basic design to change the Windows window colors!


Does not work in the Windows 7 basic design, but in all other basic designs, such as in 'Windows Classic' or 'Windows Contrast', as well as Aero,

If you want to activate Windows Aero, select a Windows 7 theme. Some of the colors, fonts and sizes selected here only apply if you have selected the Windows 7 base theme or a theme with high contrast.
Colors and sizes selected for elements are only used if you have selected a Windows Classic or High Contrast theme.
If a different design is applied, you cannot change colors and sizes for elements.

ATTENTION!
If you move the slider far to the right, the start menu, window and taskbar may no longer be transparent (if activated) because the color will be too dark. You'd just have to slide a little to the left to lighten the color again.
